@2011 Lambda Divers is a non-profit Washington DC based diving club that promotes recreational scuba diving in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and transsexual (GLBTT) community.
There are no specific membership requirements. Lambda Divers is open to all regardless of certification levels or orientation. Dues for single divers are $30 per year or $45 for two years. Household memberships are $50.00 per year, $67.50 for two years. Members receive access to discounted diving, local dive shop discounts, and our bi-annual newsletter, "Tank Talk" - a forum for exchange of information and ideas, meeting announcements and dive trips. Domestic partners and spouses can join for a discount.
Although most members come from the DC/Baltimore area, Lambda Divers has members in many states, Canada and Europe, and networks with other GLBTT clubs to share information on dive trips.
